Vacation Pics!!

California Pics!! Here is B the morning we left-holding Daddy's hand on the way to Steph's! We missed you, B! It was such a wonderful, relaxing time!
First stop after arriving: YUMMY In -N-Out burger!! It was great being pregnant on this trip-no craving went unmet!!

This was a cute little cafe in Santa Monica-it was so cute and colorful. We sat at a Starbucks and relaxed, ate breakfast, and people-watched our first morning!

Kyle and I got to go Santa Barbara to watch one of his friends, Sam, who he used to coach, play in a summer-league! It was so cool to drive next to the ocean-here is a shot through the net, but you can see how pretty the scenery is!

As we were driving back to Santa Monica, a gorgeous sunset! Perfect ending to a perfect day!

Brunch after our couples massages! The massages were AMAZING! Kyle ate some yummy, french toast-presentation was pretty!

This was a cool bird who wanted to share our breakfast-he got so close to our table-very friendly in CA!

After our massages, brunch, and working out-did I mention the gym was outside?? You could see the beach while you hardly sweat-NO humidity-I love you, CA! We then headed to shop it up at the awesome Santa Monica shops!






Me and Nicole-she is still as beautiful as she was in high school-maybe even more so!! She is a talented actress, and lives in a cool part of West Hollywood-she walked home from dinner-so cool!

Then we drove into Laguna Beach-welcome to the OC! Beautiful people, scenery, and weather! I want to go back!! We went shopping before lunch in Laguna Beach! This would be a cool place to go back and visit for a weekend! Laguna Beach-a little overcast at times that day, but 70 degrees, amazing weather!

Laguna Love!!!

Great place to eat if you're ever in Laguna-Nick's!! Yummy food, great service, beautiful, right next to beach, and next to the shops!

Next, we headed to Redondo Beach to see Alisa and her family! This is a pic of the beach near her house!









Alisa and Issac took us on a tour of Redondo beach-such cute little shops. Of course we had to go into a baby store-her Dr. owns it, and they had a my "breastfriend", so Kyle had to try it on and hold Caden (Alisa's 14 month old)!

Kyle and I really got into this new yogurt thing in LA-healthy, yummy yogurt that yo uself-serve and you pay based on the weight of your cup! We ate it every night in Santa Monica, and our last night in Hermosa beach after dinner with friends!









My old friend, Jeff, met up with us for dinner and yogurt! Here is Jeff, his girlfriend, Katherine, Alisa, Isaac, Kyle, Me!

Kyle found this bike in Alisa and Isaac's garage! Isaac actually can ride it to work everyday-so cool! Kyle had to show off his mad skills on the bike before we went to brunch!

Cali Heaven!

We are back from vacation and I have so many pictures to download and post, but I'm so tired, so I'm putting it off another night. I just have to say Kyle and I had the best vacation ever! We relaxed, slept-in, had couples-massages, saw beautiful country, spent time with dear friends, and most importantly thanked our sweet Lord for the time we were able to spend together. We did miss Bryce terribly, but it was a sweet "babymoon"!! I'll post pics later this week!

Kyle also had his first Father's Day Sunday! Bryce and I surprised him with a "DAD" key chain with "Bryce Dylan" and "Jackson Kyle" on it. He loved it, I swear he had tears in his eyes-so sweet! He is the BEST Dad and Husband. We are so blessed!!

Me: "Yes, B"
B: " Do we need to wait until it's cold out?"
Me: "Yes, honey"
B: "Mommy, it's cold outside"!!

He is so stinkin' funny right now! It amazes me how smart kids are at 2 years old! (2 years, 8 months!!!)

Prayers, Please

Please pray for my sweet, sweet Sis-in-law, Hollie. She and her family need our prayers this week. Poor Hol has been in the hospital first, with Alexie, then Kylie, and now she herself is in the hospital with mono! Robbie, her hubby, is out-of-town during all this, so I can't imagine how she is coping. Thanks for praying for her health, the kids, and for the Dr's at the hospital to take extra care of this special lady.

Lots of Updates

Warning: Pictures!! The past week has been so busy I haven't found time until now-ahhh, cuddled up in bed with my two boys-nothing better! So, here are some highlights of some of the things we've done over the past week 1/2. Enjoy!!

Last Friday, we celebrated (sadly), one of my BFF's "Going Away Party". Sarah and her beautiful daughter, Taylor, are moving to Abilene to be closer to family. We will miss them so much, but Sarah and I talk everyday, so nothing will really change. I probably won't see her until August, too long! We went to this great Italian place in Uptown off McKinney called Campania-kid friendly, too! Then, we went next door for yogurt!

Last Saturday, we went to Gabby and Poppy's house (Kyle's parents), so Kyle could help with some landscaping. Robbie, Kyle, and Poppy worked in the yard, and at first B and I stayed inside (I thought he would nap, but yeah, right there was sun out, so we went to the pool with Hollie, Alexie, and Kole!) Sweet Ky slept like an angel with Gabby. These are pics after we got back. These cousins love each other! So sweet!!

Ok, these next pics are hilarious. Kyle, we think fractured his foot, while showing his manly athletic abilities at Uncle Dave's house over memorial day weekend. Seriously, he really hurt his foot and has been icing it every night. So, of course Mr. B had to COPY what his Daddy was doing, right?!!

This past weekend, Kyle and I made alot of progress for Jackson's room. We bought the changing table/dresser...pick up tomorrow! We also ordered the adorable Caden Lane bedding-can't wait to get it then we will be able to paint and complete the room for our little "Monkey"!!

Before we finish Jackson's room, we needed to complete B's room. He still had a couple things we wanted to get for him. So, here is what we did....


Cute Sport-themed decorations! We covered ALL sports-don't want him to always just hear about baseball, you never know, he could be the next QB for the Cowboys, or Guard for the Mavs!! HA!

Finally, we hung up crosses that had been on his bookshelf! So neat to show him his crosses and explain what they mean! We owe it all to Him!! I asked B what he crosses meant tonight and he said "Jesus"...made my heart smile!

This week is going to be another crazy one with Kyle starting his new job tomorrow, me trying to get things together and finished for work before next week....our MUCH needed vacation to California!! Yeah!!
