1 month!

Jackson is 1 month old! I can't believe it! Here are some things about Jackson lately...

He isn't sleeping through the night-ha, like a 1-month old would be, right-I WISH!

He eats every 2-3 hours, nurses very well, and has lots of diapers :)

Jackson is very alert, and even holds his head up already without help for several seconds! So strong for a little guy :)

Jackson found his thumb the other day, and I got proof...does this mean he, too, will be a thumb-sucker like his big brother Bryce??

He has the sniffles and hates, I mean hates when I do saline and suction his nose, oh, and he is LOUD...I still think it's cute, but he throws a fit when I change his diaper!

He is almost 7 pounds! I feel like as much as he's eating, he should be 15 pounds already, but I'm trying to enjoy him being small and precious!

Jackson knows Kyle and Bryce's voices-he always looks towards them when they're talking (or screaming in B's case)!! :)

J kicks off his blankets every chance he gets-he has to stick those cute feet out! Oh, his feet and hands are exactly like Kyle's-exactly! SO sweet!

His eyes are still blue-I know they can change for several more months, but they look just like B's did at this age-hope they stay :)

J does not like his carseat yet-I think he gets too hot in it, but he does fall asleep everytime we get in the car, so can't be too bad!

Jackson makes the sweetest baby noises and grunts-funny! I think he might be very vocal later on! Maybe he gets that from his coaching Daddy or outgoing mommy and brother?

Although I am very sleep depreived, I could just stare at him all day/night. He is such a blessing and completes our family!

Speaking of that-went for my follow-up OB appointment yesterday with BOTH kids-yes, it was nuts-B pulling power cords out while Dr was "examining" me! I will never take them both with me again! Everything is great and I'm back to normal-sort of! Still have about 8-10 pounds to my pre-preggo weight, but feel pretty good. Dr. said I'm not restricted anymore so I went to the gym last night and today I'm paying for it! I'll take it easy today :)

Also, so thankful to Him for this; check out Hollie's blog for update on Robbie's deployment and keep praying! Also, please pray baby Will gains some more weight and can finally be at home with his mommy and daddy! We love you Will!!

How Similar!!

Last night we stopped by Gabby's house after dinner (so thankful I didn't have to cook), and we hung out for about an hour. Gabby was loving little Jackson-I fed him, she burped him, and Bryce got into everything at her house :) She got out Kyle's baby pics and I couldn't believe how similar Kyle and Jackson are looking...check this out...what do you think?

Randomness!

I feel like I have soooo much to say, so litle time, and last night I had 1 hour of sleep, so this will probably be all-over-the-place!!

I can't even begin to describe the love I have for my family. I am so blessed to have 2 beautiful, healthy, sweet boys, and the most amazing Husband! Jackson has enriched our lives so much in only 3 weeks. (Happy 3 week B-day, Jackson!!)Although sleep is a luxury these days, sleepless nights are so worth it!

Yesterday, Gabby and Poppy came over and watched Jackson while Kyle and I went to the gym...yes, I am nuts-but I have to admit working out is a great break, and makes me feel productive, and gives me some much needed energy! I am sore today!

Here is Poppy holding little J-just precious!

Gabby & Poppy!

Here is J from this weekend-he has gotten bigger! He is now 6 1/2 pounds!! I can't wait until he gets chunky! This is how he sleeps-I think he was in this position in my belly! BTW-I am STILL supposed to be pregnant right now-crazy, huh?!!

Jackson always has those big hands on his face! He has Kyle's hands and feet!

Last weekend Bryce went to his first girlfriend, Addison Rose's 3rd B-day party! It was a princess/prince party and he had a blast! Grancy and I had fun too. Kyle stayed home with Jackson, and it was a good 2 hour break. Addison met B when he was still in my tummy. Rina, Addison's mommy, is due with Andrew in November! The party was everything pink, but B had the most fun playing with toys and of course-in the bounce house....did I mention it was raining, but did that stop him-no! He even had to borrow some of Addison's clothes while we dryed his wet clothes!

We have had so many visitors, friends and family over the past 3 weeks-we are truely blessed! Chris, Annie, Charlie, and Alex came over a week ago to see Jackson! Little did we know baby Will would be joining him in the world a week later!!

Sweet Jackson sleeping!

Poppy holding Jackson after we got home from hospital!

Bryce found some lipstick of mine, and wanted to look pretty like mama, he said!!

Like I mentioned above, Will, Jackson's cousin, joined the world Friday evening! Annie was 36 weeks-just like I was when I had Jackson! Crazy how we both had these Houser boys early-they just couldn't wait to meet their families! Please pray Will's lungs are strengthened daily so he can go home with his Mommy and Daddy! We love you Will, and can't wait to hold you. Jackson can't wait to meet you ,too!

My little Tadpole!

Last week Bryce started Pre-school at Sunshine Kids-at Stonebridege United Methodist Church down the street from our house. I think I was more nervous than he was for his first big day! He loved getting all his new, cool, "stuff"-a.k.a. his Spiderman lunchbox, sleeping bag,etc... I took him with Katy, my friend, who will be picking him up and dropping him off. Preschool is Monday and Wednesdays this year for B! His class is called the Tadpoles and his teachers are Ms. Debbie, and Ms. Lisa! So far, he loves it!

Here is his lunchbox! I think I might have sent too much food the first day-snacks too :)

Sweet B!!

Catch up!

Wow, I feel like I haven't posted in soooo long. Actually, so much has happened in the past week, and we are all doing great!

Jackson Kyle Houser came to us early-such a blessing! Last Sunday, 8/30/09, I started having bad contractions-they went from 30 minutes to 20 to 12 minutes. Kyle and I dropped B at my parents, rushed to the hosptial, and the contractions were at 7minutes apart. I thought my water broke, but it was just tons and tons of blood-kinda scary-especially for Kyle who had to witness all of it! It did prepare him for the actual birth, though! My contractions got down to about a minute, the Dr. came in (not my OB, but one of her partner's-Dr. Licker-hold all jokes, please). She was wonderful, and after alot of bleeding, Jackson made his entrance into the world at 6:54 a.m. on August 31, 2009! He just couldn't wait to meet his family! Check out my sweet Sis's blog, a.k.a The Drama Mama, Hollie, for all kinds of sweet pics!

Uncle Shaun also took some adorable pics of little Jackson! Here is one!

He is just so tiny and precious. He is eating great-breastfeeding every 3 hours, and before we know it he will be a big boy like his bruda (brother, as B says)! Here is a pic from this morning-it looks like he is saying "Be quiet, my crazy brother!!"

Speaking of B, he loves Jackson! In fact, he wants to be everywhere he is, sit by me while I'm feeding, and he even jumped in Jackson's pack-n-play-NO JOKE!!! He did get in trouble for that one, but overall he is adjusting well to Jackson. Yesterday, he even showed our entire family how to "pump to get the milk out of his boobie for Jackson"!!! I promise, he saw me pumping ONE time, and now he knows how to use the pump-amazing how kids catch on so quickly!

We are so blessed to have such amazing family and friends. I haven't had to cook a meal yet, and probably won't have to for at least another week-so nice! THANK YOU for lending your time, thoughts, prayers for our family lately! We appreciate it more than you know!

Tomorrow is a BIG day for B-PRE-SCHOOL-AHHHH, I can't believe it! I'll try to take some pics and post. Now, off to rest before I get some things done and feed Jackson!

XOXO,
Lindz
