That is what I keep telling myself when B does silly, sometimes annoying things, that he is only 2..and a half! So, I told you I would post about the cell phone incident. Well, many of you know, I am very organized-especially when it comes to my job, appointments, being on time..(my biggest pet-peeve ever)!!!
So, I have had my I-phone which I love BTW, for over 2 years. My entire life is on that phone-contacts, emails, my google calendar that my partners and I at work have managed to put our whole year, yes yearly calendar of lunches, programs, appointments, etc...
The other night after we finished a lovely dinner, Kyle and I took the dishes in the kitchen to clean, and I turn around and there is sweet, innocent B holding my phone, dripping in water, and he says with the sweetest voice.." Here, Mommy."
I was in SHOCK!!! How could he? No, he didn't? OMG!!!!! Yes, B submerged my phone, my life, into my cup of water on the table. I actually didn't panic...at least not right then! Kyle was great, he talked to Bryce about what he did because I was so mad I couldn't even talk. When I get really mad, I'm silent. Just as the good Lord would have it, my wonderful parents knocked on the door literally 5 minutes into this drama! Thanks you, Jesus! As soon as I saw my mom, tears started flowing. Now, you're probably thinking, "Lindsey, this is only a phone." 'Yes, but if you knew everything on there-also all the sermons from the past 8 months from my church-gone! Anyhow, grancy and Papa (my parents as B calls them), were so sweet to take B to their house so Kyle and I could go to the AT&T store to get me another phone.
So, we left, I cried, got a new I-phone, and they said the only thing I could do was let my sopping wet phone dry-out, and in about a week, see if it would turn on again. I'm praying it does, but if not, I know it's only a possession, and obviously is replaceable. So, on the way home, my sweet husband said ice-cream will make you feel better, so one sonic-blast later, I was soooo much better! When we got home and got B, I couldn't even get mad at him. He is only 2...and a half...and I am so blessed to be able to be his mama, and be able to go out and buy another phone. I realize my hormones probably were acting up a little bit that night, too! :)
My tummy is finally pooching out a little bit! My Dr's I call on are starting to notice! So fun, and only 20 more days to know 100% if we are having a baby boy Jackson, or a baby girl, Olivia?!! What do you think???
Have a super Wednesday!!
Love,

Oh, Lindz...I can only imagine! I would have been in tears too!
I can't wait to find out the sex. I told you from the very first sonogram that I think little Jackson is in there! I can't wait to meet him (or her if it happens to be Olivia!!). I love you, hun! See you Sunday (I'll call or email to figure out what we can bring)!
I love both of those names, both of them are on our name "list"!
Aidan, my 4 year old, is obsessed with my phone...and since I don't work outside the home, there is really nothing on there of importance...but one day, when I hurt my knee at the gym, my mother-in-law took the boys to the library. To her surprise, Aidan had in his pocket my phone AND my wallet!!! That little toot!
So...I'd like to say they grow out of it...but some are harder-headed than others!! :)
