I say at least 6! That is-how big Jackson feels in my belly right now! Supposedly, he is the size of 4 navel oranges, and about 16 inches long. He is sooooo active-which is a good thing, but way more active than Bryce was at 31 weeks. My entire stomach will move-looks like he's doing the wave!
Today was my 3rd day being on bedrest and it's so weird-I'm exhausted! If I get up for even 10 minutes, I have to lay back down to rest. I guess it's a good thing my Dr. made me stop working-the braxton hicks have gotten better and back pain too, but they come back as soon as I'm doing something for too long. So, I'm gonna just have to listen to my Mama and relax!
I did manage to get a pre-natal massage today-heavenly! I SO needed one of those-helped my back too. I took a bubble bath afterwards, and it's funny how you don't realize how much you use your stomach muscles until you're pregnant! I was washing my hair in the tub and had to use my hands to support my body when I dunked my head-yeah, felt like a whimp, but it's true!
Kyle is doing great at training-he got a 100% on the written test today over hypertension, and 98% on the verbal test! I'm so proud of him! He is going to kick butt once he's done with all his training. B and I miss him soooo much! B constantly is asking "Where is daddy"?? I always say, you know where-and he answers "In Mu Jersey"!! So cute! B is a handful right now with my limitations and Kyle being gone, but thank the Lord my parents are down the street-such a blessing!
Last night B and I walked across the street to "Auntie Paula's" house for dinner-she is the BEST cook on earth! I've known her and her family since I was 9! Her son, Michael is dating one of my best friends, Karen! She joined us for dinner, too, and it was so nice. B was wild, but Bob and Michael played soccer and golf outside with him.
Only 1 week from tomorrow and Kyle will be home for 2 weeks-yeah! I can't wait! Then, he'll have to go back to training for 3 weeks, but he will fly home on the second weekend. I'm praying Jackson will keep cooking until after Kyle is all done with training. Please pray for at least 7 more weeks so he can be fully developed and healthy!
I also have a prayer request for Michael, Paula's son. He was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer, and is having treatments Aug 7th. He has to follow this craaazzy diet for 2 weeks prior-basically eating nothing with salt, only chicken, and veggies. I know that would get old really fast. He had his thyroid removed already, but they found some more cancer in his lymph nodes. So, please keep Michael in your prayers for a full recovery. The tough part is not only the treatment, but he has to be isolated for 2-3 days in his house, and can't come into contact with anyone to prevent radiation damage to them. They even have to throw away anything he touches. Thanks for your prayers!
