Today has been full of events-good and bad. I woke up praying my back would feel better since I have a crazy work-week ahead of me, and the fact that Kyle left for 2 weeks today didn't make me think it would get any easier. So, we piled in the car, headed to Starbucks, dropped B off, and headed to the airport.
On the way, I started having braxton hicks again and my back hurt so bad I was hunching over my steering wheel. I know Kyle hated leaving me like this, but I tried to be tough-tough lasted about 30 more minutes. I called my Dr, she insisted I come in, and by 3 p.m. she made me go on an early maternity leave.
So, I am now not working, and supposed to relax, stay off my feet, and the idea is the contractions should stop! With the nature of my job-in and out of the car, standing all the time, etc...she felt it was not a good idea to continue working. So, now I will be catching up on movies, books, journals. I admit it will be very hard to not do any work, but Kyle and my Dr. insist NO WORK, just relax and let Jackson continue to grow and rest. One of my nurses saw me have a contraction and was like, yep-you're done working. I guess with my personality it's gonna be hard, but I'll try and make the best of it and chill!
Kyle made it to New Jersey and is getting ready for tests this week. I miss him so much already, but know I only have 9 more days until I can see him. Bryce has been saying "Daddy is in Mu Jersey". So funny! He had some pretty funny conversations on his "cell phone" (his hand) tonight: he put Santa on "speaker" and told him he was sending him to "voicemail"!!! I guess B really does listen to my conversations!
I'm sure I'll be better about posting now since I'm home now! I still can't believe I probably won't be back at work until January-that's next year!! Woe!

LINDZ!!! Oh my word!! I agree, you need to relax and let little Jackson grow bigger and bigger. And, YAY!!!...that just means that we can come visit and play with you. I think I'm gonna really like this! So, what can we do this week where you can relax too? I'll be calling you later to talk about it! ;) Love you, Lindz!
Take it easy girl! I went into early labor at 34 weeks and was put on bedrest...mine was SO restrictive. I couldn't even take a bath, only showers, and only if someone was there with me!
I lived on my couch for 5 weeks, I know how hard it is...praying for you to be able to relax, and for little Jackson to grow big & strong! :)
