Well, I've done it again...slacked on blogging. Oh, how I have missed blogging, but it's just super crazy working, taking care of kids, trying to workout, you know-get back into a routine! So much has happened since I last blogged...a month worth of fun, cold weather, lots of family gatherings....so I'll start with something I heard today from one of my nurses, Delores-she is a HAM...I mean, I could talk to her forever, and I was leaving this Dr's office after lunch and Delores said "I am too Blessed to be Stressed"! It hit me-I stress WAY too much about the little things, and I'm going to make that quote my new mantra for 2010! So, I'm gonna be saying it alot..and living it.
Let me summarize December: CRAZY FUN! This was a mixture of work (still part-time) for me, mixed with vacation for 2 weeks, Christmas, my Dad's 60th Surprise B-day party we hosted, Christmas with both families, a trip to Lubbock, shopping, eating out alot, breastfeeding, then stopping breastfeeding, Bryce getting croup on New Years Eve, ER visit, Dr's visit, Jackson's 4 month check-up, back to work full-time...I think that's all I can remember for now! Whew..I'm tired!
So here are some updates on my two Angels..aka Bryce & Jackson!
Bryce- (3 years, 3 months) He's saying the funniest things. Monday evening he started saying something and Kyle yelled to me "Oh my gosh-listen to B"...he was saying the Pledge of Allegiance...I was so proud that his pre-school is teaching him that because public school does not teach it anymore. I'm thankful for such a wonderful Christian environment Bryce is learning in, and for his great teachers! B also repeats everything so Kyle and I often talk in "code"...so the other day we were talking and he said Mom, DEFE..I'm like "What"?? Then I realized he was copying us by spelling out words-so cute! Bless his heart! Bryce is always helping with Jackson-getting us wipes, diapers, and he knows how to do everything, and I mean everything we do. If he sees us do it once, he knows, like taking medicine, washing dishes, cleaning, running his bath, oh, and cooking-he knows how to make an egg and coffee!
Jackson- (4 months) Jackson turned 4 months on New Years Eve-I can't believe it! He is the sweetest baby and has such a funny personality already. Last night he "talked" for about 5 minutes straight-it was a really good story! He is reaching for things, almost sitting up on his own, and drooling...alot...which means teeth-ahhhh! Thank God for those teething tablets-I actually still have some from B!Here are his 4 month stats....Dr. is very happy with his growth..still a little guy, but doing awesome! His eyes are going to stay blue-yeah, I hope they're just like B's-so pretty!
Weight-13 lbs 13 oz (24th percentile)
Length- 24 inches (10th percentile)
The only sort-of "issue" is he favors the right side of his neck more than his left, so we have to do exercises with him so he doesn't need physical therapy. Bryce had plagiocephaly (he had to wear a helmet), so I was worried about that, but Dr. said no helmet, as long as we get him to look the other way! So far, it's working!
I can't find my camera, but when I do I'll post lots of pics...here is one of J from last week :)

Sooo love the too blessed to be stressed! I get stressed and I'm not juggling working on top of everything--so I can only imagine! But, I love the new mantra!
Bryce and Jackson sound amazing--so sweet and such fun to hear the stories! I love that blogging lets us cherish these little moments we might otherwise forget!
